goodwood park durian fiesta

today there was a goodwood park durian fiesta at NUHS medical center... so there is like a 20% discount for their products... have always heard that goodwood park durian pastries are damn nice but never gotten the chance to try them.... so today when i went over to tabao my lunch from burger king... we dropby at the store to see what was available... we thought all the aunties & uncles would have snatched all the food but surprisingly there was still stock left wor.....

discounted price list
although there is a 20% discount, i think the pastries are still quite expensive wor....

durian puff
close up on the durian puff
durian moose cake
i would say it is pretty expensive slice of cake... $9.40 per slice after discount.... not cheap lea.... i very cheapo 1... i think $6+ for a slice of cake is already very x.... the cream puff cost $2 per piece after discount... pretty expensive though.... but i admit both of them really taste nice... very rich durian taste especially the cake... really rich but abit too sweet for me.....

sidenote... we also have very pretty looking omiyage from japan by our lab mate....
pretty packaging

inside the wrapping... the box look pretty too

the actual food
it is dango.. fyi, dango is like rice dumpling in japanese... i was expecting the hard kind but actually it is pretty soft, taste more like mochi.... i like the green tea powder on the outside but the red bean paste inside is abit too sweet... but on the whole, it is still nice =)
