went to the menya musashi @ star vista for dinner cause we ran out of options of what to eat for dinner... after staying in NUS for 9yrs.... everything just taste so sian....

actually 1 of the reason why we chose menya is because i wanted to try the sakura tsukemen... i didnt expect it to be something super nice but at least something unique & dont get to eat often....

the good thing about menya is that they constantly change their menu with new things such that you can try something different everytime & not just stick to the usual ramen....

while waiting for our food, i saw this.... currently menya has 8 outlets in SG & there are 3 different styles... i am really curious to try the thick H-shpae noodle @ westgate... i thought only the alphabet pasta have shapes... didnt know ramen can have H-shape wor... amazing...

i cant remember if last time menya served free water but now they charge S$1 per bottle of ice water.... i mean.. is just plain water... must charge more just because you added several slices of lemon inside????

my sakura tsukemen.... pink ramen is definitely unique.... honestly, i dont really taste any different... perhaps just a very slight sweeter taste in the noodle... my bf said the noodle smelt like plastic... i was like huh??? it smelt normal to me...

that's my bf's chicken tsukemen with fried golden mushroom.... the mushroom is too salty for my liking but at least a new addition to the menu....
i guess we kind of cutting down on oily food such that nowadays, after we ate something oily such as ramen, we dont feel very well after that... for me will have a pukey feeling... so i guess we will stop eating ramen for awhile... shall go for a healthier option like udon =)
