griddy gourmet waffles

passed by the griddy gourmet waffles store before but didnt try it the last time since i wasnt in the mood for waffles.... finally got to try it today.... the store is located at westgate basement 2 where most of the food stores are....normally i am not a very adventurous person & especially conservative when it comes to food... i dont like to eat fushion food, i think it's a very weird concept... similarly i dont like savory sweet food... i think it's just wrong.... but i decided to give griddy a shot cause the pictures look yummy....

so they have quite a variety of food, i forgot to take picture of the waffle sandwich page... i think the dessert page looked the most yummy in the menu... especially the smores.... delicious looking!!! but since we are going to order waffle sandwiches, we decided to forgo the desserts.....

so i ordered the sunrise sandwich ($7.90) which consisted of turkey bacon with chicken ham + sunny side up.... & bf ordered griddy burger = beef patty with sauteed mushroom ($9.90)... the interesting is that waffles were used to replace normal bread.... the taste was not as strange as i imagined since i believed that waffles should be eaten sweet & not with savory stuff.... i think on the whole was ok but i think there was too much MSG in the food cause after that the whole night i felt super thirsty & kept drinking water....

in general, this store is ok.. interesting concept but perhaps the next time i will just go for dessert & not the waffles sandwiches.... not exactly my thing.... but really interesting =)
