carnivore @ marina bay sands

on thursday, prof brought our lab to carnivore for lunch to celebrate his promotion & end of honours project.... i was really excited about it since we wanted to try it quite some time ago but didnt get the chance to do so.... we went to the outlet at MBS, the store is much smaller than i imagined since is a buffet style restaurant....

so the interesting about carnivore is that the staff will bring the meat to your table & cut them for you... on the table there will be this sign whereby you can swing to either the maroon (no thanks) or green (yes please) to indicate whether you want to have more serving of meat.... in addition to the meat choices, there is a small corner of salad bar included in the buffet...

i would say the salad bar sections were abit disappointing to me, i was expecting more variety of greens but is more of cooked food.... perhaps that's the brazilian style of food....

as i mentioned the staff will bring the meat to your table & serve you there.... i think the meat was grilled nicely but too salty & oily..... the idea of having freshly grilled meat is nice but personally i am not a very meat person.... i cant eat too much meat so i end up eating fruits & marinated octopus from the salad bar... & my favourite food there is actually the garlic bread..... so i guess it kinds of defeat the purpose of going to carnivore but since this is a free lunch for us, of cause i have no complain..... but personally i wont visit carnivore again.... but for those meat lovers, i think it's still something that you can try =)
