i am not sure you guys out there know where to get the tuxedo shirt aka winged tip shirt, but me & my bf was having a hard time trying to find the shirt.... initially, i thought it will be easy to find such shirt but i was wrong, most departmental stores dont sell them... unless you are at those stores which sell high class suits, i dont think winged tip shirts are common in SG....of cause you can go to a tailor to tailor made one very nice shirt but i think it will cost quite a bit.... so about 2 months ago, we were walking around chinatown & we came across this shop at chinatown point = suit select.... they sell suits, shirts, blazers, etc but most importantly winged tip shirt!!! so we went down again last week to get the shirt since we cant find better alternatives.....

according to the staff, their products are imported from japan so the cutting may be alittle bit small for the bigger size guys.... they have quite a large variety of shirts but for winged tip shirt, sadly, they only have one design....

for their normal shirts, the price range is about $69 but currently the store is having like 10-20% sales for selected items, so i think is quite affordable..... but most important for us is the winged tip shirt.... they only have 1 design & selling at S$79.... alittle pricey but better than those branded shirt which i read in forum will cost S$150+

FINALLY bounded my thesis!!!

after months of procrastinating, i have finally printed & bounded my thesis!!!!

it cost $14 to bind the book.... kind of pricey but i think it is worth it.....seriously, it look prettier in the hard bound form than the normal ring binding... somehow it just gives a more professional look.....the book that contain my 4yr+ of hard work..... must display it in my book shelf next time =)

this mouse/gerbil/hamster lookalike animal has a lovely face.... the super big ear remind me of mickey.... the amazing thing is the long hind leg & tail.... somewhat resemble kangaroo....

Shiseido SALES is HERE!!!!

GIRLS, the annual Shiseido SALES is HERE!!! for those of you who always use shiseido products, now is the time to stock up!!! i am not sure about the amount of discount they having this time, but on average, items are sold at about half price, if not more!!! last time i will always go to the sales to get majolica makeup stuff... depending on series, sometimes, an eye palette will cost like S$8, compared to the usual like S$18+?!?!?! but now kind of tone down on majolica, prefer KATE now... but me isnt impt... you girls out there can shop till you drop!!!

orchard building is the one behind H&M.... they will provide free bag deposit services as no bags are allowed, so if possible, it will be good to come light = with just your wallet & hp... just to save trouble of depositing your bags.... so again.... if you girls are fans of shiseido products, do go down to the sales... i always see people buy like HUGE BAGS full of products.... i guess is really much cheaper compared to usual =)

instand yakisoba & mobile drip coffee

just a random post on two interesting food items i came across recently.... first thing is the japanese cup noodle.... & i mean is really from JAPAN, japanese cup noodle..... bf's parents went to japan for holiday recently & future mother in law gave me a instant cup noodle to try....

i forgot to take picture of the outside packaging... but it is the sauce yakisoba.... quite interesting to me as i havent tried cooking dried instant noodle before... like most japanese products, they are very detailed in their packaging & instructions.... then the thing i really like about this cup noodle is the extra opening for you to drain water

this is really nice... cause most cup noodle only ask you to drain water from the same opening when you add in hot water... but this packaging has holes on the other side such that you can drain off the water easily!!!

of cause this yakisoba wont taste as nice as those cooked in the restaurant but i think the standard is really pretty good for an instant noodle!!!


another interesting thing i observed recently is the mobile drip coffee.... i gotten this freebie when i walked around orchard last week....

when i first looked at the packaging i didnt understand what it meant by mobile drip coffee cause i dont drink coffee... when i looked at the picture then i understand what it is.... i think it is a pretty  cool concept... normally you need to buy the extra filter to have the drip coffee effect but with this mobile drip, you can easily have a nice cup of coffee!!!!

when i opened the packet, the whole room is filled with the nice coffee aroma... i think it really smell nice even for a non-coffee drinker like myself...

it is a very simple design, the whole idea is just having this extra "handle" so that the filter will not drop into the cup.... but is this extra effort which makes this coffee special...

really cool as i watch how the coffee dripped into the cup.... my bf say the coffee tasted ok, mayb on a slightly acidic side but the aroma is pretty good.... my friend went to check online... for 50 serving it cost S$60..... i would say this is quite pricey for "instant" coffee... but due to the unique mobile drip feature, you get a nicer cup of coffee which cost S$1.20 per cup... i think it is still a good catch if you are a coffee fan =) for more information, can check out their website here -> onefreshcup

mayuyu FINALLY obtained center position!!!

mayuyu has finally clinched the top position in akb48!!! after 7yrs of hard work, she finally earned the center position!!!! the senbatsu results are listed here...

mayuyu look so lovely in the center!!! just a personal opinion... i actually dont understand why some of the girls are elected to be in the top 16.... perhaps i have a very different opinion of beauty/cuteness.... but most importantly... mayuyu is in the TOP!!! YEAH!!!

can see mayuyu's speech above... although i pretty much dont understand everything, i still feel so happy for her!!!! personal opinion is that i dont like the #2 person... i was really shock when she came in 1st last year... i am very superficial so i guess she doesnt have the cute face that i like so nay.... dont like her..... now i really cant wait to hear the new song with mayuyu in the center!!!

 i apologised for the unclear pictures cause the jewellery are way too bling... somemore with the strong spotlight, everything is like shinning into your eyes... so you cant blame my pathetic handphone camera for its inability to capture its luster.....

i believed the store has all the designs that are available online.... i do urge you girls if you intend to get the rings, do go down to the showroom to see the actual specimen before making the purchase as the pictures may not do the rings justice.... personally i do like the star/flower designs... kind of unique

i think it looks pretty nice in picture but when i saw the actual ring... it still look nice but comparatively, it isnt as nice.... i guess the reason is you cant see the design very well.... but the heart shape ring that i also eyeing.... is really PRETTY!!!

there are 4 available diamond sizes... 1, 1.5, 3 & 4 carats.... i think 1 to 1.5 carats are ok size... when it comes to 3 carats or more, the diamonds dont look that shiny... this is the same problem experienced by REAL diamonds... i guess when the size is so big, the refraction isnt as significant to our eyes.... personally i like the 1 carat size... look petite & subtle = which is something that i want... i dont want something that's too flashy.... so 1 carat is a nice size for this design.... i didnt take picture of the ring when worn since i dont intend to get it that day... but really... it DOES look PRETTY!!!! i am definitely going to get the ring but cheapo me is waiting to see if ORRO going to have any sales since now is the GSS period ma..... again.... do go down to take a look at the rings.... the staff are pretty friendly... not pushy or show you black face if you didnt buy the jewellery =)
